"Sorry hit post before editing or finishing! So I'm def sorry for typos. Anyway to wrap up I loved this show. Opener different world was interesting. Meat>normal phoebe was sweet. Really rest of first set was excellent. Opening of second set through tiny tiny world is phenomenal. I'm deranged>a sick space filled Peel is just tasty as hell. There are no weak points- just certain compositions I don't dig as much as others. This band can sometimes imho have the wrong guy singing sometimes or not use a harmony when it might help or use one when they shouldn't etc. I know backseat driving, couch quarterback etc but just an occasional feeling I have. But the tracks I don't like as much just like with phish I typically still enjoy the instrumental part just not the main chorus and refrain etc. so the instrumental ability and quality never waivers is what I'm trying to say. Great show! Please enjoy..."

"Here is phish or in this case mike again with another free release. You know they got to keep the "cash grab" so many trollers refer to going with all those free releases and including those free copies of the show wiTh your ticket stub. Am I wrong in saying they are the first and only band to ever do that for EVERY SHOW ad infinitum? Anyway sorry had to get that out. So this show is excellent . I have liked all of mikes projects to some degree wth this and the duo/GRAB stuff being my fav. With this band we have the new addition of the steadily ascending (the ranks of young jazzy jamband fusion crossover type drummers) john Morgan kimock in the skins. Having grown up with Rodney Holmes, bulky kreutzmann, Mickey hart, jay lane, John molo, Alan hertz and many others he was bound to have pedigree even despite not following in his dad's footsteps with a guitar (Steve kimock and Trey are like on equal footing as my fave live guitarists amongst others...) and then he def got the genetics of one of the most amazing ears in the history of music from his dad. So that is an immediate thing you'll notice if you pay attention to that kinda stuff. Secondly we have a big name free agent addition so to speak with Robert Walter on mostly fender Rhodes I believe. I'm Not sure if he mixed it up for this gig a little. He's notoriously moody musically when it comes to the intensity of his performances, as well as stoic and a little minimalist with his rig but in the context of this project I didn't catch them live he may have utilized more sonic manipulation than normal to add to the ambient jams-I'm not sure. Walter will never be no page McConnell at that type of stuff but he's one of he best in the business when properly motivated to get down he can bring some serious funk and a fine technical edge to the keys that this band has lacked in the past in terms of having as strong of a potential soloing personality on keys in he band to add to the prolific soloing of Mike and Scott. It's a welcome change and although the nomadic Walter has often been just a hired gun in his career outside of his own projects so I cannot predict how long he will stay in the band, I can say that as long as he is here it's a welcome addition. Now to get to just a few highlights I'm not gonna go through it all il just say the sound was excellent. Crisp recording and well mixed. The drums and percussion are meticulously mic'd and blending secondary percussion stuff into his beats is one of the many traits John Morgan kimock excels at probably due to the fact it's a strength of almost all the drummers I named who influenced him throughout his life. And I thought it sounded great here."
