"I just don't understand how anyone could listen to this good and not consider it to be way diff from he average good. There are most certainly NOT 50-100 hoods where the band goes full type 2 like this that are better than this version. I also think the type 2 part is anything but sloppy so I don't know where that comes from either? Yea the wrap up to composed ending could have been better but when have we let that ruin amazing jams in the past? This hood is amazing and especially for a tour opener. Sorry just had to be said. "

"i agree with gone phishing and just wanted to mention there's a real nice taper section recording of this show on youtube with really nice bass response and a lot of nice moments where you can really hear mike dig in. definitely considering purchasing it here. fantastic energy and rarely a dull moment. all but flawless. not sure it makes the short list for show of summer tour, but, i like it. stftfp opener and the more i hear this tune the more i like it. for the moment very into hearing versions of this song. i think the lyrics are kinda stupid, but i guess it's about, like, some blank dude somewhere, and he's kind of got a side to him that people don't know about. it reminds me of a lot of the fall '13 artwork, that had these pictures of, like, some dude in a hoodie stepping out of the window of his house and into a cloud, or something. that dude could be you. i actually think fuego was the low point of the show, nothing wrong with it, though, if you like that tune. i just can't get into all the 'steal a car' business. too far a leap from 'the flesh from satan's dogs.' able playings of a lot of fuego tunes here, and i am starting to get into the sort of phish-floydiness of all of it. i think i get it now. whereas before i didn't. but, i'm not really a flyod fan, and, fuego record is never gonna be my cup of tea. still, i think this 'HALFWAY TO THE MOOM,' is my FAVORITE TAKE so far. and, i hadn't noticed that mike sings a thinger at the end of fuego, and, i think that's cool. by the end of the first set, this one really gets somewhere. loved stach, BOUNCING, BIRDS. stash has this great thing in the jam that happens where the melodies are really opeing out. worth a listen. the end of BIRDS is so tight, love it. so then when wingsuit comes along it really checks me. i don't want to like this song, and yet the band is providing me with such joy. whether it's my place to say it or not, i think they earned it. and the wingsuit sounds good. set two's unassuming MIKE's opener goes epic. loved every minute but i think what will keep this from being a really list topping version is the weekapaug, which gets a little weak. there's some things here and there, simple could have been cleaner, but, it holds together really nicely, and, is justl ike right in the zone to keep this show up in the level of really excellent awesome a-ok, love it. it just keeps on being great right up through the cavern closer with unstoppable momentum. i don't know why but the cavern closer really works here. after which i wouldn't have it any other way than a week Julius encore. wouldn't have it any other way. just perfect. good fun. for some reason i felt like this show needed a maze. it just put maze in my head, then mound. bet you if it was '95 they woulda played 'em. ok that's all for now and if you are thinking about jumping into SUZY's cavern, make sure you bring your HARDHAT !!! behhhhhhh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh"

"The Ghost>Weekapaug was the video they should have pulled from this show. The loudest the crowd got all night was when they segued into Weekapaug, they built it up and were on fire. It was the peak energy wise that evening."
