"I only found out it was being broadcast for free during setbreak. I thought the second set was very good. Chalkdust was ripping as usual. I saw that there must have been some comments pulled from this board because people were hating on the band. There is no need to hate on the band people. If you don't like them anymore, please don't come to the shows. The tickets are meant for people who want to see them not haters who should go see something else obviously. The fact is, my first PHISH show was 11-28-1990. I am reliable source to who this band is and what their music is about I think by this point. I have seen well over a hundred shows by now. Some of you may have seen more, but the majority of the shows I saw were pre-2000 and 60 were 1996 and before. Blah blah blah..nuff bragging. PHISH is awesome. They have always been awesome. Of course there are some rough patches and comparing the early 90's to today is really not fair since PHISH is really a different band. Before they were playing these huge stadiums they played clubs and small theaters. Yes those days were awesome. I remember when they played the Bayou in Wash DC in July of 91 with the Giant country Horns. That was awesome. Darien Lake 93 when Trey played the guitar solo from Stairway to Heaven during Maze..that was Awesome. When in Red Rocks 94..the band busted out Frankenstein as the encore after an already flaming show..look it up..its one of the all time best. Yeah..those days were awesome. But shit..I wish I had seen that 20min Fuego at SPAC this year. Or the 10 Tweezers at Merriweather! Every tour has special moments and some nights are going to be better then others. You know what we all have to be glad about? The fact that these seem to genuinely like each other and get along! The fact that after all these years, they can still bring it night after night and can still tear the roof off the mother fucker! I'm glad glad glad to be a Glide! Aren't you? Dicks starts tonight! That's my neck of the woods. See yall there for the best fucking band in the world! All 3 nights baby!
