"I guess you just had to be there! The boys were having SOOO much fun, and the whole place was just in one long extended groove. Everyone was just happy to be there and you could feel it. This was a very special night. There are as many opinions as there are Phish Phans, but for the people in that arena, it was a really, really good time."

"West coaster who has mostly only been able to savor a show at the Gorge, or back in the mid 90s when they had last played indoors here. Life was all set to make a mini run (Eugene, Seattle, Chula Vista). Then life smacked me in the head, with my youngest son getting hospitalized a week ago. Missed Eugene, but a loving family was able to give me time to go with my good buddy to Seattle. With a compact shakedown right across the way, our night started with some posters and pins. Security was chill (thank you) going inside. Key Arena is cozy seated (corner 100 level section) but has a decent patch of concrete to boogie on. Met our seatmate bookends. My buddy sat next to couple who he had met at the Eugene show. I was lucky enough to sit next to Sharon and sunshine (the bear). We were able to share some Washington kind (very smooth) and I was finally able to let go and just get lost in a Phish show. Sometimes I would watch CK5, sometimes one band member, othertimes the bounce of the crowd, othertimes a jam would just sweep me away (where the hell did 8 minutes just go). Anyways, just wanted to share some thoughts. I am sure an exit poll would produce every type of review there is, but I just wanted to say a word of thanks. To the band, to the fans, to the city, it was a moment."

"I'm going to keep it simple. I think its special that Phish has the ability to conjure up such a vast array of thoughts and feelings about each performance. Hey, its part of being human. After each concert you'll have people walking away thinking that it was the best show ever! Some other guy might think it was just meh... and someone else might be demanding their money back! That might be a little extreme, but you get the idea. Look the thing is, each show brings to the table different elements and each person will receive it differently. My opinion of the show? Well, not that anyone asked, or anyone cares, but I thought it was good. Not the best, it had its moments both good and bad, but thats okay! There will be others. It comes down to this: when the band has left the stage, the lights are coming on, and the show is in the books, I'm pretty confident most people will be walking away with a smile on their face. And as long as that's true, I think Phish will keep touring. As soon as that's not true, they will throw in the towel, they won't put on a shoddy performance. They're professionals! They know when to quit, and now is certainly not the time. All I know is this: anytime I'm in the same room as Phish, that's as happy as I can be! Peace, and keep on keeping on."

"So getsomears.com manages to decrypt mikes body language and facial expressions that have been described as "automaton-like" and have vexed fans for decades. For the guy whose face never seems to change you really manage to interpret and get some info for the rest of us as to what mike was thinking about what trey was doing...... from your seat in an arena? I might add-also in the dark with lights and fog and balloons etc further interfering with vision , or,from your couch? Whatever it is you must be the man...when no one else can figure the guy out you manage to know that he's thinking.. Your powerful. Just like your a good writer who doesn't use to many partial sentences and make queer and unusually disjointed references and metaphors."
