this was my very first Phish show. and probably the best one I`ve ever seen. thanks to my friend Mike (RIP) this show opened my eyes to the joys of a Phish experience. I had never heard music that made me move so easily...it flowed and it was beautiful. It is something I`ll always be thankful for.

damn, got this show a while back off of this site, let me tell you the whole show from Bag to A Day in the Life is just something everyone who goes to this site should DL. There`s not much more to say about the setlist/performance put on that night except for the ENERGY that comes out of that TUBE!!!!!!!!! My buddy and I were cruising around one day (hasn`t heard the disc btw) and after the THEME that blew him away we both got LOST in the TUBE!!!!!! Picture this, 2 guys rolling around the suburbs jamming the hell out of that tune; no steering wheel, dashboard, window went unscathed!!!!! Classic PHISH IMO, need more of `97 on here...

Holy smokes, this show rocks! There is something for everyone here, and more than enough for most. The jam on `Theme` is unreal. In fact, the jamming throughout is top-notch. My only beef is the sound quality; I think that the sound on the Island Tour downloads is the best, while this one is too bass-heavy and not as `open` (very little crowd sound & the upper midrange seems squelched). But the playing makes up for that. If you get any of the shows in 97-98, you must get this one too.

Top three show ever..They play not just one of the best Tube (maybe best ever) but Jesus, Theme, Slave, possum, REBA,and timber. 7:14 and on in Theme will make you shiver.. The possum is also extremely good and funny with the little ditty the boys spontaneously begin to play and go back to several times. The Reba is just so on and takes you from a funky dark and pure sound to a high energy finale. I love the dark and funky vibe that seems to underly this whole show. This is the best show you`ll find on LivePhish

97 is possibly the best year for phish and this show rocks my sox. I would love to hear more from 97. I also attended the Trey and Mike show last night in Chicago and man was i dissapointed. For some reason Trey doesn`t want to perform to his full potential and now it seems that he has draged Mike down to his level. I love trey and mike but i need to hear more 97 Phish to remind me why.

I feel so lucky to have been in the second row, dead center for this show. Quite possibly one of the best Phish shows ever. Thanks for the great time, boys...

funky show...Thats the best stuff, When they jam off into a funk jam (Pyscho Killer sounds pretty funky). But yeah good show, Tube is sick (page)
