Set II: Timber (Jerry) > David Bowie, Harry Hood -> Blister in the Sun Jam -> Harry Hood -> Free, Waste > Johnny B. Goode

Show Notes: The second set included the first-ever Blister jam, with lyrics, and an unfinished Hood that segued nicely into Free. The entire show featured Bob Gulotti on a second drum set. Listen closely for Willie the Pimp (Frank Zappa) teases in YEM just before the segue into Izabella.

Having compared this night`s "Tube" (and the "Dayton Jam") to 12/29`s, this is definitely better. 12/29 overall is a better show though -- especially coupled with 12/30. Damn, I miss that `97 FUNK. Looking for next year...

great show!!! still have the vintage maxell xl-IIs of this one. I`m definately waiting for the release of 12.6 (Auburn Hills) and 11.19 (Champaign) although I doubt they will because in Champaign, fishs kick drum head fell off during taste and it took a minute to fix. still a great show from in my opinion the peak period of you-know-who

I can`t believe I missed this show by one night. I saw them for the first time the night before at the Palace which in my opinion was comparable with show in regard to the level of greatness.

I can`t believe I have waited until now to download this show. Years ago I originally had this on tape but lost it. I quickly listend to the bag>killer and I fell on my face. After that I skipped to the Tube and then fell on my face again. Absolutely no buyer`s remorse.

My wish is that LivePhish will release the night before at the PALACE OF AUBURN HILLS 12/6/97. All I can say is isten to the Bathtub Gin>Foam and then the second set with Tweezer>Isabella which is in my opinion as notable as anything from this period.

Well, looking at this set on paper I thought it wasn`t going to be a mind blowing show. I was mistaken. The Tube > Dayton Jam is unbelievable and same with the Theme. One of my favorite shows now

I will stand behind:

Anyone who loves live music;

or, anyone who loves phish;;

or anyone who has a heart or soul;

download this and take a listen:

To take a stand and play....

This by no means is the best show this band had/has played.
Rather, this is a moment where they played,

we heard the wail, the call languishing in the moment of forgetfullness

Search through 17 pages of reviews on the internet nonetheless

Worst comment you will see is "while i dig it, not the best this band has done."

Best review, "what music was made to be."

If you have any inclination to wonder what this band could do...

Take a listen to this one

3rd time downloading this show, and this remaster is worth the investment..

Treat yourself, listen, you do/will deserve it.
