all i have to really say about this show is that so far its kind of a bit murky sounding as compared to the rest of the other downloads. i remember when this show was first posted up it was free for a limited time or maybe just meatstick was shortly before the NYE 02 shows were to happen. i didnt even know the band was on hiatus during this time and didnt find out about it till i was in a chatroom in winter of '02. thinking oh they'll be back for the summer...nope lol. they didnt come back till 12/31/02.

13 years and 7 days later.....not exactly 20 years.....If you think Trey is lost in this, you're wrong. He is present, and this is a must have for Phish fans. Freakin Phish...........

And considering it was the last time for a while i would get rid of first tube opener, and never play my soul again. If you cant thing of 50+ more songs that would have been better , again considering they walk off stage for the next 2+ years, just glad i didnt travel for that one.

Need to hear the whole show, but if your telling me they couldn't play something better then Meatstick and Wading in the PEE for thier last second set b4 hiatus you gotta be kidding me. I love these guys and they have earned the right to do whatever they want on any given night. But seriously this show would have been better without those to songs, in my opinion .

I was very emotional for this supposed "last" show. I had a very large joint rolled up with the letters YEM written on it. My buddy looks at e as the encore is about to start as if to say, "well?" I looked at him and said "There's only one song that gets this joint smoked!". Sure enough, they gave it to us.
Now, I know how we phans tend towards hyperbole, and I had seen many YEM's before this one. Maybe it was the over sized super dank joint. Maybe it was the cool San Francisco air. Whatever it was- I was into this YEM like no other. I danced my little ass off!
I won't get crazy and call this the best YEM ever. I will say it's the most fun I ever had listening to that epic tune.
Adios amigos!
