I agree with the terrible recordings that have been put here. I went to 7 shows on the first leg and yes the boys are back and playing great. Then i come home and pay to download these shows dont forget most jam bands we get the shows for free! Dont get me wrong I love Phish and I love them and that will not change. All I am trying to say is it is dissapointing to go to a killier show that completly moves you and then when you come home to download the show the sound is inferior to what you hear if you were actually at the shows. since we are paying for these shows there is no excuse for bad quality, I have Dead recordings from 1970 that sound more clear. Why is this happening and will the problem be fixed. See everyone on the second leg then out west for halloween i am so excited. Halloween is better than Christmas when Phish is playing.

Why are these recordings -- from Hampton '09 to Alpine '09 -- so thin, distant, AM-like? Listen to nearly any other pre-'09 download available here and the sound is forthright, immediate, present, and full. These tapes sound like they were made from a mic outside of the venue...through cellophane. Will the '09 tapes be remixed? If so, will the new mixes be made available to those who've already paid to download?
