"Today in Phish history on Friday October 21, 2016 Phish played the first of two shows at the Amphitheater at Encore Park in Alpharetta, Georgia. And yes I was at that show. My pavilion ticket through PTBM cost $45.00. I flew down from Philly for the weekend for a much needed break from food school with my youngest son Ori!! #ifyouknowyouknow My friend Alex that I met the summer prior when I went to California to see Phish picked me up at the airport and we stayed at a hotel near the venue. We met up with some fellow Phunky Bitches and stayed in the pavilion for the show. I had purchased two tickets so I’m assuming one was for Alex but I don’t remember. My highlights: I’m so good with an ASIHTOS opener, fun energetic “AC/DC Bag,” love love “Blaze On!” “Sugar Shack” just kidding, lol. I try and try to like that song. “Things People Do” always a joy when I get one. Y’all I got my debut of “Mercury” this night and woo hoo cause I love that song hard! Why is it so good? I got the first “Let’s Go” at SPAC the summer prior and I got the second and last one to date this night but this time I knew the song. I got my debut of one of my favorite songs at that is “More” and I don’t care that you don’t like it. It gives me all the feels and it’s just a great song! This second set was straight fire starting with a 21 minute DWD with sick jams, teases and Trey on the Marimba Lumina. That was a highlight of 2016 for me, every time he played that thing. Right into an energetic “Carini” that eased into a really nice “Winterqueen.” I’m not usually one who writes home about “Ghost” just cause I was over inundated with it in 1997 so you know, lol. But this one was quite special and with that “Cat Scratch Fever” tease! The “Possum” was frantic and blissful and then the “Slave to The Traffic Light” to close which has always been a highlight for me. Something about blissful music that completely fills my cup. Lol speaking of which, “Loving Cup“ encore I will gladly take any day of the week. It’s worth noting that about a week before the show I responded to somebody’s post in a Phish Facebook group about going to the show solo from across the country yada yada so I was like you can stay with us, you can hang out with us. I didn’t know her but that’s just how I roll. So that’s how I met Julia, and we’re still friends! She came back to our hotel and ended up crashing in our room instead of her Airbnb. She good people! Re-listening to it for the third time and I must say, if you are gonna listen to just one song from this show, might I recommend “Down with Disease“ and I never, that’s how good it is! "I attended this show and was not that in to it. I had some outside distractions for sure. My initial reason for not being in to the show was the first set. But I've listened to a lot of it now and really enjoy what I'm hearing. Mercury, Let's Go, and More are awesome! Everything was played really well I just thought it flowed weird at the time. Bounce around the first set listening to what you want when you want and there is a lot to enjoy. The second set rocked!!"

"Well a guitar change would explain some but not all . Thanks for the insight though. I'm gonna have to go back to my vid from Mansfield and see though I could have sworn he started with the ocedoc and then switched to the older guitar after he broke a string for rest of just that show I didn't know it was whole tour. Interesting "

"Trey went back to the guitar he used from 95-2000 starting in St Paul - it think he spent a lot of the summer adjusting his sound and the fall tour is showing that pay off. Page really has been a monster with the clave all year - really seems to have found some new energy. John's drumming with a little more pace/tempo and Mike is steady as always. "
