"This was my very first show, and I feel so lucky. It was a true banger. I’ll never forget waiting in the pouring rain in the lawn and then they came out and the first few notes of Llama absolutely smacked me in the face with OH BABY OK THIS IS IT energy!!! Moma was great and Divided Sky was perfect as the rain let up a bit. Dirt was really beautiful, honestly one of my favorite Trey solos. Went to walk to the bathrooms with my friend during the very start of Possum and I’ll never forget seeing the lights come up as we ran through the crowd and it was just pure smiles everywhere. Piper/Mikes, etc were solid but Free in the second set gave me my first show epiphany. I really love coming back to this one, give it a listen. "

"This wolfmans is very very cool. Like many in 2.0 they got creator with the thinks beyond the normal funk and the tight little duet groove between mike and trey around the 7:30 mark or maybe a little later that develops is quite cool. This show is excellent top to bottom though to be honest. People don't realize just how tight this band was in 2003 in general but not to mention by the end of the summer after a New Years run, full winter tour, trey out with his band, mike with his etc. THey were just playing really well... culminating in musically my favorite festival to date- IT."

"This was my last Phish show, and I took my girlfriend who was not a fan. Her daughter had joked that she couldn`t believe that I was taking her mom to Phish. The afternoon started out fairly nice, until we hit tons of traffic heading to through Philly to Camden, then we crawled across the Ben Franklin bridge into Camden. My lady gets car sick easily and was looking pretty green when we finally hit the lots. She laid back and rested for a bit, while I had a couple of beers. As show time got closer, she looked worse, so I offered to drive her home. She declined, and said we should go to the show. She also added that she was late, which could be adding to her nausea. Relcutantly, we went in and found a place on the lawn, where it began raining very hard. I thought there was no way she was going to deal with this for 3 plus hours, but that`s what she did. We groved and danced in the rain, especially as the started Moma Dance, on of my favs. I also dug Seven Below, my first time seeing that tune performed. After $100 or so on shirts and food, we settled in for the second set, which was just killer to me. I`m not a fan of Piper at all, but kicking in to Mikes Song was incredible. Adding Free to the mix was special to me. I love that song live, but have not seen it performed too often. My love made it through and enjoyed the show, although she did say never again. Now my wife, she still reminds me occasionally that she loved me enough to stand in the pouring rain at a Phish show. And the stomach thing.....our beautiful daughter Kara just celebrated her second birthday. Of course now my next big show will probably be the Wiggles. "
