"Trey is absolutely ripping here. Unlike many of the mellow 2003 jams, which all have an atmospheric vibe to them (which is why 2003 is my favorite year to listen to) Trey has something to prove during this anniversary tour, especially this night. This is like someone told Trey he sucked before he went on stage, and his solos are his response. Thats what this gig sound like. Almost has a hint of '97 and The Great Went to it. This sums up what a good 2003 gig is. Miami run is great too, not long after this show. Some of his best improvisation since his Trey Band 2002 stuff. Highly recommended! Jaw dropping."

"This was my first show after:1.getting hit in the face w/a liquor bottle by a random crazy guy outside of a bar,2.moving to nyc 3 months and 3 reconstructive surgeries later.......I went by myself and cried w/joy during RJ, then freaked w/joy at the GHOST>WTU.heavy stuff!!!but this was the show that I saw the inevitable comin` round the mountain.....On the train back to brooklyn, I had a very strong feeling that phish would be done w/in a year.I told my roomates when I got home that they should see whatever shows they could.Then, in ALBANY, my hometown they played one of the best shows ever!!!!When jeff walked onstage, I knew it.the decision had been make and it was just a matter of time.....so, this here show has a strong 1st set and a set 2 that feels like a rehersal.....get it!"

"Wow. This is one of those kinds of shows. You know the kind. This has to be one of my personal all time favorite first sets, it freakin` rips. The music gets so very heady and just sends me off to the places I like to go. From Ghost all the way through the end of the set... I literally grin like an idiot every time I hear it. The second set is also fantastic, the boys were just firing on all cylinders this night, there really aren`t any low points. I really like the Crimes encore too, alot of folks seem to be down on it, but to me it`s like a really rippin`, rockin` exclamation point on a stellar show. I can`t recommend this show enough. Obviously we`ve all got our own opinions on this stuff, that`s part of the beauty of having such a deep passion for this band and music in general, and if you`re reading reviews like this, you`ve got the passion... but for me, this show and IT were the cherries on top of the glorious sundae that was Phish `03. Or better yet, they are the knobs that go to 11, because I simply can`t help but turn these shows UP! Man, I miss Phish... "
