Show Notes

* Download Phish Vegas 96 at LivePhish.com and receive two EXCLUSIVE BONUS VIDEOS: Wilson and You Enjoy Myself (note: there is a slight cut in the YEM video) * By the time of Phish's pioneer gig in the Silver State of Nevada, they had toured Europe for the second time, had masterminded their first single-band mega-festival and released their sixth studio album Billy Breathes. On December 6, 1996, they reached the Aladdin Theatre for the last show of a 35-show fall tour that stretched from Buffalo, NY to Las Vegas. With frontier spirit, Phish displayed many of their most compelling aspects, stringing together old classics in new ways, hosting a parade of special guests, acting out stories and even conjuring The King with four Elvis Presley impersonators joining them onstage. * Encore with Les Claypool and Larry LaLonde from Primus * Cowboy's Sweetheart with Yodelers and John McEuen (Nitty Gritty Dirt Band) * Suspicous Minds with Elvis impersonators

"This show is an absolute gem of a running show. The pace starts perfect with Wilson crescendoing with a raging poor heart before it settles into a perfect pace for the next 10 miles to finish up at the end of simple at race pace but extended out to the full 3 hours is a wonderful Sunday pace! "

"This is the one. This did it for me from Peaches thru to the end. Absolutely fantastic. And the Simple could easily be top 3 for me. "

"This show transformed me from a newbie into a wookie for sure. Harpua encore is legendary."

"I will take back some of the things i said about this show. it's good but its NOT 40 dollars good. i paid for the limited box set. a $10 dollar download sure but not a $40 dollar show. To me Mike's bass is hard to hear from the start till about down with disease or the start of the second set. but it is a landmark show having a 9 song encore. but also buy it for the "i love donuts" vocal jam in YEM."
