"Karoda had rigged a big light with rainbow capacity to uplight every single palm tree lining the outside of venue behind stage. Visible eve through the stage itself… and during the first “Halloween” weird jams started straight MELTING the trees in successive rainbows. The rebirth of really weird phish magic in a kickass Halloween vibe . Including the acoustic bliss set!"

"Piper from this show is definately a tight piece of music! I'm wondering, has anybody out there heard a similarity in the final three or four minutes of this Piper jam to the I Love Donuts vocal jam from the Vegas '96 YEM? Thought I would throw that out there."

"This Wolfmans->Piper is some of the best playing of 09. Great stuff indeed. After giving all three nights a couple of listens I gotta pick this set 2 as the best of the weekend. The Hood and Bowie are both phenomenally executed as well. Page is the MVP of this set. His playing throughout this set is top notch. Get this one and spin set 2. You will not be disappointed."
