"Listen to the Down with Disease. This show is close to the end of the tour and the band is road-worthy. Really solid shit. "

"After a fairly solid first set that lost some punch with TTE (I like it, but it clearly doesnt fit, and the crowd doesnt want to hear it) the fellas came out and performed a segment that should be considered a highlight of The Fall. DWD->Piper->Fluff is high energy Phish which really played to their 09 strengths. Compact, high energy jamming, snapping rhythmic exploration, and concise, focused execution topped off by one of the best arrivals in Fluffhead these eyes have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. This segment is worth the few bucks alone. But there's more. A fantastic Cities, an evil Bowie, and a dance party in 2001 all help finish one of my favorite sets of 09. "

"It was my first time back to MSG since 12.29.98 so it felt like a welcome back with the Punch, Boogie On, and 2001 that reappeared this night. From memory, it should be noted that Axilla had no swampy outro, the Stash brought the most I'd seen from the song in this 3.0 era, and I think I now have a point of reference for Time Turns Elastic as a song and not as some new stranger. The Swine Flu Jam out of Disease was my highlight along with the other deep dank darkness of that second set, which set-off the funk in Cities (where I DID forget Memphis) and brought unearthly sinking depths to Bowie's nooks and crannies. Much to my chagrin, old friends Fluff and Halley's fell prey to flawed, over-exuberant, and hack singing-along that occurred in the seats directly behind me, though I'm sure their annoying squeals will be concealed in the soundboards."
