"This Limb by Limb is stunning. The ending vocal jam is likely a nod to South Africa hosting the World Cup that summer. Chicago itself was electric on the heels of the first Stanley Cup for its hometown Blackhawks, much to Trey’s chagrin as it came against his Flyers. “Next year, man!” The first set is purposeful and sharp for a season opener, with an old school (strictly type I) DwD setting the tone. Reba is the highlight for me, with the structured improv segment I cherish coming at dusk. Although the Ghost seems rusty in parts, the final five minutes are driving hard and haunting all the places you’d want it to spook."

"I have cashed in several free trials just to indulge in these 2010 shows. This summer run is in my humble opinion the most fun and tight this band has ever sounded. Long live Uncle Ernest"

"Hey man you don't have to like Light. But as you said the boys do and for that matter except for some shorter early versions I have mostly noticed that almost no one seems to complain about the song much until I happened upon your review . No offense intended. But it's the truth. And since he band likes it and most fans seem to or at least don't mind it, I feel bad cuz you'll be missing out on some of the best type 2 jamming of many a second set if you just write off light. I just have to ask, since it is mostly just an improv vehicle and the songs short lyrical portion is about something incredibly positive(I mean who hates the imagery of light as beauty except for goths, and sado-masochists, and vampires) what is it exactly that bugs you about the song?. It's such an innocuous song. I mean I happen to like BDNTL cuz again it's usually a jam vehicle, but I CAN understand compared to light if someone doesn't love the song cuz the lyrical imagery is a little corny. Although I don't think people realize the "number line" is supposed to represent trigonometry number lines not simply like a calender and birthdays and days passing by the way I think most who dislike it envision it's meaning to be. Anyway. I love me lights. Starting in 2010 it's just like a guarenteed beautiful soaring melodic major based(usually ) jam to me. But to each his own I guess. "

"I agree with you wholeheartedly!!!! I really want to like light, especially because the boys obviously love it and use it as a springboard to improvise from, but........ I hate it:-( im sure ill get some great responses on this incredibly objective review site. Suck it phu#kers!!!!!"
