"Mike's House for sure on Jibboo. He was just getting nasty on that bass. So much so, Trey was slapping his strings just to figure out how to get down with Mike's shiz. The sound quality of this show is outstanding."

"TWIST!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!! Unfinished!!! Okay, its not a 20 minute Island Tour/Japan2000/2.0PH monster, but oh man, the last 3 minutes are fucking GORGEOUS deep Phish. Especially the last minute or so, Trey plays some truly gorgeous stuff; its a shame he simply let it loop and decay for a Ghost which he truly fucked up BADLY with the lyrics, despite the playful Cities and whatever other lick that tease is. But this Twist is really a great, memorable version, because of the last few minutes of deep space. Piper was weird, because it seemed like Trey had no ideas for the jam, then went to Mike and said "Twist" and then comes back with some fiery solos, leading to a deep piano-based jam, leaving only a little time for some tasty Pay Jorgan before it appeared that Mike counted Twist off. Ghost is weird, too, because the jamming is fucking STELLAR!!!!! Early in the jam, when Page comes back to the piano after the clav start, Trey finds a truly spell-binding melody shift once Page moves over to the Fender Rhodes (that beautifully mellow electric piano) and the jam begins to take flight around 5:30 when Page plays a beautiful series of licks that Trey feeds off, and then a wind-up with Page going back to the piano and Trey digging in deeper back in Ghost-jam home territory. This is SO fucking sick, I don't know why they cut this off!!!!! God damnit!!!!! This was going to be epic in a pH way (pre-hiatus!). Page piano!!!! And when Trey lays down the big power chord before the segue around 7:00, with Page's piano descending lines... UGH!!!!!!!!! Pay Jorgan!!!! FUCK DAMNIT TREY!!!! Seriously, that Ghost was fucking incredible for those few minutes. I seriously don't get why Trey felt the need to force the rock star singalong closer. Was he scared of high schoolers complaining about the lack of one more pop single to end the set? Crikey."

"Is it me, or is the sound just awesome this tour? I download the MP3's and they sound spectacular. So much better than the summer 09 tour. So far, I think THIS is the best show of the tour. I'm out in CA and haven't caught any of the tour, but this set rocks. I envy those who attended!"

"@ KOB - Totally agree. Amen. That's what I was trying to say couple of days ago, but you said it better. Peace to you, enjoy the shows (and I know you will). Thank God for Phish! "

"I was sitting in row 2 for this show between Trey and Mike - had an amazing show with my brother. I haven't been so close in an seated venue in 10 years or more. I felt like i was seeing my first show - when in fact i have seen Phish about 80+ times over the last 18 years. While there, i would have rated it a 10, but after listening to the show a couple of times after buying it here-yeh, i could see where people didn't think it was their BEST rip (First three songs of set 2 and the reprise closer made the show for me). But all in - i thought it was a great performance-a show where they were giving us what we wanted and really delivering the whole time. After this show - and in the last couple of years, there has been a lot of hating on Phish and their performances, song selection, flubs, musical choices, not enough jams, not enough face melting - i like to call it nitpicking. While I appreciate and understand that people want this and that to fulfill their experience, I'd like to remind everyone of the fact that we are dealing with 4 musicians (and humans) that have changed and evolved as they performed over the last 28 YEARS. I mean come on...this is Phish here ladies and gents - it's like complaining that your steak is too juicy. The early 90's phish was EPIC, beyond epic...but it was the past. Now is now. I love that fact that that was then and this is now. I was also 18 in the early 90's - and they were in their late 20's. I'm different - they're different. It's evolving art. They still play, they still amaze and they still stand us on our head at shows and say - WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT??!! Those times may be fewer and further between, but i appreciate that - makes those No Quarter moments all the more special. The point is - these days people are getting too flippin picky about what turns them on in Phish and what constitutes a good show. Rode home with a dude who was saying he is sick of hearing Suzy Greenberg. I almost strangled the guy. It's not 93 anymore - its 2011 - things change - people are different - bands are different - shows are different. Appreciate the experience and cherish the fact that you are still able to see this band that you love so much. Because - as we all know - it will not last forever. Enjoy the ride my friends, we are so lucky to be able to have this be a part of our lives. I appreciate that every time i walk into a show - back of the lawn or row 2 center. This band has changed my life, shaped my life and influenced my life in ways i cannot list here. Some good, some not so good...but i wouldn't change a thing. There is a beauty and sense of other-worldliness that is imbedded in this culture. The music will live on forever...but the band will not. I for one feel PRIVILEGED to be able to continue to see a band with all original members for 20 years. How many other things in your lives have such an amazing impact after 20 years? Review the show - pick it apart all you want... It's Phish and it is going to be what it is going to be... This show I listened to Reprise to close the show like i was hearing it for the first time - Trey dancing around on stage galloping around like a school kid...i felt like my head was about to explode. That is so indescribable - how cool it is to see that and FEEL THAT after all these years... Step back and think about it. Trey, Mike, Page, Fish and Crew...Keep it going man - its outstanding what you do for us. I appreciate that you all understand how important you are to us... kob"
