"should all check out the gorge second night....a maybe much finer example of them using good teases, not to mention the teases of heartbreaker in wolfmans and how ridiculous the show takes off from there, crazily experimental tweezer, second set reba, birds, antelope is no slouch either........check it. seems like this has become the move...I'm OUttie 5000"

"This show was EPIC ! The set starts off with a crazy "Colonel Forbins" and ends with an insane "FIRST TUBE". The second set starts off with a great version of CROSSEYED and Painless which teases through the whole set. This second set is just straight FIRE ! The building was soaked during this run, the floors walls and windows all wet. I have to admit "SHOW OF LIFE" brings me way down but for the people that do enjoy the song I heard only great things. Check out Mikes bass drops ! During NO QUARTER Gordon drops a sonic booms that makes your arm hair stand up. DOWNLOAD THIS !!! "

"Phish is the best jam band ever! Love GD and WP, but Phish is just more phun! And that's just it! I don't know about the early 80 years, but I saw them phirst by accident in I think '93 whan they opened for Santana at Great fucken Woods of Mansfeild, MA. I remember sitting on top of my car after the show and watching shadows pass over the pavement in the parking lot (yeah, it was one of those nights!), when I heard the Mango Song being played out of a Subaru with Vermont license plates. "What are you guys listening to?", I asked the couple hanging out by the side of said Subaru. "Oh, that was the opening band.", the girl said. "Oh yeah? Who was that?", I inquired. "Phish!", she replied, and then I bought A Picture of Nectar, then Lawn Boy and Junta. The phun had just begun! The scene was a small niche of "interesting" Phish Heads. And like anything else that's good, it catches on. Which bring in all different types of "personalities" with it. We're seeing it here on these forums now. All these expectations and "what I think is good!" The phun is the unexpected. Take away what "you" think Phish is and just go with it, if at all possible! Just when you think the wheels are going to fall off the shopping cart, BAM! The boys smack ya in the face with musical energy and passion or darkness or whatever makes our spines tingle! Yin Yang. Ebb and Flow. It can't possibly be a 10 every night. That's what make the little nuggets stand out. Enjoy them. Savor them! They don't happen all the time! Even with the best jam band ever!"
