"Great One"

Danny 10/17/2011 6:23:32 PM

"I showed up early to get a front row spot right up against the bar, and i got my money's worth and more. trey came out with the cayman opener, which was amazing. push on had the whole place jumping. pigtail was really hot for a request. they played it the night before, and we were all so happy to catch pigtail tonight. the simple twist was really good, tasty darker jamming. good jamming all the way throughout the band, the keyboards were absolutely on fire all night (especially during jiboo, cayman, and sand). if your going to pick a night out of this trey run, i have to say this would be a serious contestant. the band really was on par that night. trey was working a lot of motiffs while jamming -- i was impressed how cohesive and smooth he sounded (probably a result of not having any super long jams, but hey: good music is good music). love all the different genres this band can play -- off the charts good. thank you so much trey!"

"This show was awesome, and it just blew up in the second set. The first set was fun and I am sure I'll appreciate it more with additional listens, but damn if they just didn't get on the gas and keep cranking it up through the end. Cool venue, and great to find a killer show like this in Bmore. And this is the wrong place to plead for old shows...I get it, if you like Trey or Phish and you are younger than about 30, you don't know anything and all the stuff from the mid to late '90's was better than anything ever made presently or in the future. But if you feel like enjoying the days you live now instead of yearning for when you could live out of the back of your Corolla subsisting on grilled cheese and burritos, some of these shows are pretty damn good."

"I'm sure this was a fantastic TAB show, I've downloaded one from this tour and it is fantastic. Please don't hate me, but I'm writing in this place to beg Livephish to release an old-school Phish tour during this break from current shows. I would personally vote for summer '97 first, maybe summer '95 as a second choice, and fall '94 in the third slot. If someone from Livephish is reading, please make my Christmas wish come true!!!!"
