"a month before this show at was at a crossroads of my life. phish made me feel sane again. ive been to tons of shows this one i will always remember for the crappy ride i was going through at the time and the light it brought to my life"

tweezer teaser 10/1/2018 10:55:41 AM

"Treys definitely go a little mind left body jam tease going on there for a couple measures, it’s just trey unfortunately unlike the mind left body that emerges out of the cities at magnaball that gets full band participation. Great tweezer for sure and that closIng melodic section that builds is reminiscent of sections from the Tahoe tweezer. "

"I was also at this show skunk, first show at XL center for me and the boys, I was actually pretty impressed with the sound inside. The tweezer tease has been something I've been trying to nail down since I walked out of the venue that night really. It almost sounds Disney to me or some movie soundtrack, I don't know why the movie Explorers comes to mind but I may have to watch it again and listen close for that riff. This whole show is great and the Lou Reed tribute to kick things off was an early Indication that the night would be a good one. See everyone at the dozen soon, start the countdown. Also who's got my stream for tomorrow?"

"I attended this show. Had great time. Had not relistened till now. I remember liking this whole run and tour. I went to both Worcester shows as well which were great. This tweezer has an extremely different vibe to it. And there is a particular part with a very familiar sounding little motif(seemingly uncharted tease I'm thinking ) it's def an interesting and extremely unusual (for that portion of tweezer). It's right at beginning of the expanding opening first improv section snd it starts with a major sounding melodic little riff that Trey and page pick up on right away which is another indication of an Intentional nature to the familiar riff/phrase that I believe is an unlisted tease. Anyway it's a really cool little vignette for a tweezer and the jam almost takes on a "light "-like jam quality for the remainder. I loved 2013 personally. It was the first time I felt the band was consistently going deep and frequently performing longform improv again since their return. This trend had begun beginning in 2011 and expanding in 2012 but really took root in 2013 and the boys haven't looked back. "

"I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Paige is the glue that holds the funk together!! From Start to finish, this was a terrific show, and upon walking out of the venue, I told my friend: "we caught a good one." I cannot stop listening to the Golden Age. Strong to Quite-Strong. My only complaint is that Paige seems to be lost in the recordings...barley audible during some of his own jams! you can hardly hear what he's doing during the Tube jam, even though he was KILLING IT! This is not the first time I've noticed this either, please livephish, try to bring up his levels, cause without Paige and his keys, this band looses much funkiness."
