"even that backwards is sick as duck"

"Never been a big fan of this band, but maybe that's because I've only seen 10/28/95 and 6/3/11, neither of which really hit the note for me. Never been a big fan UNTIL NOW! This funk-laden set was THE show of the summer here in Motortown. From start ( leaving work to drive to the venue ) to finish ( dropping my bud off next afternoon at a friend's for his toobin' trip ) I didn't want the experience to end. Beautiful night, beautiful crowd ( where are these folks the rest of the year? I know - on the road! ), a great Shakedown Street, and a coupla Two-Hearted Ales.......Perfecto! One thing, phellas.... howzabout next time bequeathing us with multiple shows?"

"46 days for me was a highlight after a lack luster second half of the first set. 46 days came back with a vengeance and they kicked its ass literally I was blown away after almost being put to sleep. The second set was way better and the crowd loved it by the end of it trey was bowing with big smile at just the sheer noise of the crowd. Although this wasn't the 97' auburn hills show the crowd appreciated whole heartedly michiganders night of phish. Thanks for coming out guys!"

"show was weak in my opinion, but my live show frame of reference only goes back to 1996...it was like pop radio, every song was under 4 minutes...with no ass-kickers...Reba? Bowie? Maze? Anything..? Even 46 Days was about 5 min, and Tweezer interrupted...I could go on....nothing here for the hard core fan....unless lawn boy excites you...maybe if I was on a pound of coke I could have appreciated the pace of the show, but I wasn't, so....."

"could've swore I heard mike flub a couple times in its ice while I was there although it was a sick version of its ice, best I've seen...but now that I listen to it, it sounds really clean"
