"Great first night! Sand for the win"

"Very solid show with a tight ASIHTOS opener. Martian Monster seemed short but sweet with Trey belting out echoing laser beam riffs. The Bowie was the expected tribute and this one was good but not over the top. Second set opened with a potent Drowned (maybe for the dancers in the ocean?) but the highlight is the Sand>Ghost>2001 which fits together perfectly. The rain kicked up a bit in Ghost but it was a nice way to cool down. Amazing jams here. The Rock & Roll encore was a great way to send us off on night 1. The scene at Barcelo could not have been more perfect for this show. The stage was on the beach and venue capacity was something like 5,000 people. Butlers served beer and mixed drinks followed by smiling guys who came by and took our cups away when we finished. There were open bars and a buffet in the back and beyond the dance floor in front of the stage was a grove of palm trees that lit up with the stage with psychedelic colors. There was separate light show coming off the stage onto the water that inspired the band while paddle boarders floated in. Night 3 was the best IMHO, this is still an amazing show and definitely worth downloading. Enjoy!"

"I enjoyed streaming this show (and the other two). I would also like to mention a side note. I'm not sure if it's just me, or if anyone else heard, but I hear some subtle elements of Martian monster during 2001, about 5 minutes in. Sounded like they were about to fully lock into it but then went a different direction. In my opinion it would be a cool thing to hear in the future. Whether it comes in form of a full segue, a tease or just an incorporation of elements with the keyboard samples. The keys signatures for both songs are a 1/2 step different from each other. So there a few options for how it could be done (for those with some theory knowledge). "

"So, first set is solid, mostly well played, but not very inspired especially early, although Fuego, Free and Bowie show some small flights of fancy. Second set is very good. However, very limited type II jamming, so if you're going to miss that, then, maybe "very good" is an over reach. This WTU? has gotten some bad raps, but I find it dirty and muddy at the start, with a warm glow that develops toward the end, despite never really cleaning up. Sand and Ghost show some nice inspired type I stuff, with some light envelope pushing. Wolfman's is Wolfman's and well played. I like the Possum here, both with placement and how its played, very straightforward rock n roll version, with some nice solos by Page and Trey. All in all, this set was very tight, and the transitions (with the exception of after Drowned>WTU?), were actually well done whether they were -> or >, no ripcords here. Shine a Light was nice end, and seems like it might a tribute to Bowie, along with the RnR encore."
