"Today plus a day in Phish history (I was waiting for my FB memories.) On Wednesday August 2, 2017 Phish played the 10th out of 13 shows at @The Garden in NYC known as the Baker’s Dozen. And yes, I was at that show. My ticket cost $70 x2. I took my son Ezra to his first indoor concert. We took the train from Hamilton, NJ to Penn Station, which is so convenient! We met my friend Ellen before the show for our tickets. We were Page side in section 114. Ezra was nine years old at the time and it was an absolute pleasure having him at an indoor show. The security/ushers were fantastic! We missed the donuts, but one of my friends saw on Facebook that we missed them and they gave us some Federal Donuts donut holes. I forget who that was but thank you!! I think y’all know what my highlight was this night because I talk incessantly about this song. Let me give you the backstory as to why I was so excited. When I was pregnant with Ezra in 2008 every day to finish up my workday I would put on “Guyute.” Well, when Ezra was a week old, I was carrying him past the stereo and “Guyute” was playing and he stopped cooing and got this look on his face like wait, I know this song! #truestory So when they played it this night, I grabbed him by the shoulders and I picked him up face level and I screamed “It’s Guy Fuckin Ute!!!” Yeah I curse in front of my kids. Made for a good core memory for my child and I am blessed that he got one. It was my last one to date. Ezra‘s highlight from the show was “Oh Holy Night“ simply cuz he likes the fog machines lol. Ezra was ready to leave before the encore. I don’t leave shows early and I said to Ezra “only for you, only for you would I leave Phish early.” Fortunately we could hear the “A Day in The Life” encore in Penn Station and ran into Lindsay that I hung out with at Magnaball. I make TikToks for #tiph my handle is @gettingreadyfortour "

"If you want to know what you missed in 97’.... see the filth in Meat. Dirty nasty straight phunk. Homage on the Hammond baby!!!! "

"Way Down in the Hole" by Tom Waits 8/16/2017 3:23:44 PM

"As a huge Tom Waits fan I just want to make a public service announcement. While this song is indeed the theme from "The Wire" and Phish has now joined the many artists who have covered this song on the show, nothing tops the original masterpiece by Mr. Waits or the masterpiece of an album it came from, "Frank's Wild Years". If you haven't had the pleasure of listening to this record please do yourself a favor and do so. Never trust a man in a blue trench coat, never drive a car when you're dead."

I've said it before and I'll say it again 8/10/2017 1:41:11 PM

"This show was hotter than two rats fucking in a wool sock. Best.Band.Ever. I flew out from CO just for one show (60th) and couldn't be more pleased. "
