"The important takeaway for those who for whatever reasons don’t love treys new rig is that first he will always have his signature sound and no matter how many phases he’s gone through it never disappears . Secondly, his new rig (any guitar player out there knows you feel like kid in a candy store with new effects and it might make for some gaffs as he experiments but overall it should be good not bad.) more importantly new Toys keep him fully engaged and this new rig is the main reason why instead of this summer inevitably being overshadowed by bakers dozen last year, it could end up being a great year and summer/fall. The band sounds awsum. Mike has new sounds, Trey is chock full of them(I felt he has gone away from his Leslie and Leslie sims for awhile now and missed it a lot so I love hearing some darker and more crunchy Leslie spaced out sounds. Trey being engaged from this regard and having fun each time they go out is essential to maintaining movementum for the bands current pinnacle of achievements. I see this more likely as a result of the new rig love or hate its actual sound. You can just hear how mike and the rest of the band are benefiting from Trey trying new textures and sounds out at diff times than normal. "
