"Props to Mike as he sounds like he’s in a time machine on 555. Taking care of his pipes and clean living. Dig it! "

"@guy smiley...I don’t mind what band wants to play either but regarding your comment. “They are all type 1 anyway..”. David Bowie is always type 1? You sure bout that one bud. And YEM has several jam sections built in with plenty of improv including the vocal jam. YEM is NOT overplayed and frankly these days neither is bowie. Fluffhead is absolutely not overplayed and wasn’t played for years at a time. Il never get tired of fluffhead or YEM. Fluff is phish’s hardest song to play arguably and involves so many changes and movements it’s tough to anticipate like a normal non improv song. YEM IS THE PHISH ANTHEM. It’s the song that embodies almost everything they are about. Difficult composed sections/ambient space sections, keys breakdown, Bass breakdown, soaring guitar, quiet parts, loud parts, tension and release, funk/jazz/blues rock, and wackiness in the form of the vocal jam. Sorry would not want to see it go away. "
