"1st set looks like a ' greatest hits' album."

"I have to rain on the parade. With all the amazing sounding boards on this app just skip this if you care about sound quality. It has to be one of the three worst, if not the worst sounding board on here out of all the “archival” releases. The band should DEF re-release this show rather than leave as it stands. The jams are excellent and deserving of praise. If you like 97’ then you’ll like the jams. I personally think the piper stands out more than the tweezer. I also think that this show is a great example of the creative frustrations the band was going through. Listen to them the following spring at the island tour and you can feel the relaxed vibe, and you don’t hear the hamfisted jamming from Trey that you do here. You hear a more egalitarian approach musically. "

"Wow, just purchased this show via iTunes... I started seeing the phish in '93... This show is so tight and full of tight team interplay... This show is taken from a stereo Languedoc soundboard mix... he was the man. cheers~"
