"Nah, that Water in the Sky is fantastic. Fish, Mike, and Page just let Trey go and provide backing. But still, listen to Fish throughout. That is one drummer? Listen to Page. Sounds like a waterfall, fitting for the song... and then go to the Stash that immediately follows, where they take turns leading and culminates with a cacophony of sound. 2003 was a special time, almost like an inflection point. It's not everyone's cup of tea, and I respect that. But for those of us who were there, we got our minds blown proper. "

"Just heard the Water in the Sky from this night on LivePhish Radio. Man, now I know what folks mean when they talk about post-hiatus Phish not listening to one another. Trey is simply on fire and takes a seemingly simple tune to new heights, or at least makes the attempt, but Fishman is on another plane and the two of them expertly ignore each other while completely rocking out in their own zones. Is that terrible? Well, no. I mean both of them sound great but as a band there are a lot of problems here since you can literally hear them going off in different directions at the same time and not in a "Sun Ra' way but in a junior high band practice way. Jeez guys, if you are going to push it uphill, get it in gear. And in 2009, it was so."

"This was my first show so my veiws may be a little jaded-So be warned. Cities to start the show completely threw me for a loop. I had been listening to Phish for a few years before this and this song had become my fav, kinda my anthem and a song i never thought i would see. Amazing how that worked out. Very cool and a decent verson but not the best.Runaway Jim a tight version except for a trey "whoa", which was greeted by a cheer from the crowd.Water in the sky has an absolutly beautiful Trey solo that always has me groovin. Jammin Satsh! I was pumped to be a part of that. BOAF is absolutly scolding hot. With a great and highly listenable Mikes Groove. Second Set: One of our friends totally called the Suzy opener Which we all got a great kick out of, and another good one. 46 days I had never heard before but thought it was a great new edition. Trey rips and they sound like they are really havin fun. Tweezer you cant go wrong with. 2001 was something to behold-happy little trees. Everyone PLease listen to this Limb at some point. Bouncie as it gets.LOVING CUP>Tweezer. . . .WOW! This was the only show of the three days i saw and man i whould have been so mad at my self had I picked any other day of this run. Work would only allow me one day and i picked this one. So many of my favs. So well played. This show for me proves that there is a god and he loves me loving Phish."

"going into this run, i had a mental list of 3-4 songs that i was hoping to hear over the next 3 nights. they played them all the first night. absolutely killer show, and i was in the front row, right under trey. cities>jim was played straight but with enthusiasm. boaf was good, but the mike`s groove, which felt like a big first set bonus, provided a grand exclamation point to the first set at the creek. suzy got everyone back to their seats, and trey was as nimble as i had heard him on taste. tweezer, the first ever at deer creek, peaked appropriately before dropping into 2001. the transition from limb to gtbt was stellar. it was one of the better transitions i`ve seen them pull. i have grown bored with loving cup encores, but this one just seemed to fit. good run, and this is the best of the 3. check the melt from night 2."
