"I was in attendance. Drove from Santa Fe. Awesome show!!! Reba and Wilson knocked my socks off, as did Grind. Thanks for making it available!!!"

"Incredible show! The mix is superb. I love Trey's tone during this period; he sounds like a cross between Carlos Santana and Jeff Beck, but shot from a cannon. Boogie On>Jam is worth the price of admission. The rest of the show aint shabby either. I got lost in this 2nd set. Magic. Awesome Reba, too."

"Despite all my attempts to ignore this "forum" I have to step in and support 1999, which is probably my favorite year for Phish, simply because of the month of December. Big Cypress, while hyped beyond belief, features some of the most brilliant playing the band has ever done. The band created a whole unique identity those shows that cannot be found anywhere else. Case in point: Tweezer, and Twist (primarily). The ambient attitude in both of these versions is so shimmeringly gorgeous, and calm, and relaxed. Its simply stunning. The Cypress Tweezer is 2nd to my heart only to the disgustingly epic 12/16/99 version. If you have not heard this Tweezer... well, I could call you all sorts of stupid insults and say how gay you are and how excessively large your mother is, but I won't. Trey never played anything like that before, or again. Its total epic shrage. Its not just hose shred. Please, just listen to it, and you'll see. Same with that shows Sand, which might be the best. Pure shimmering patience and space-grooving gives way to balls-out hose. 12/16/99 Tweezer 12/30/99 Tweezer 12/30/99 Ghost 10/4/99 Sand 12/16/99 Sand 12/18/99 Sand 12/31/99 Sand 7/18/99 Piper 9/17/99 Piper 7/24/99 Fluffhead -> unfinished Arrival jam (~10 mins?) -> TMWSIY 9/14/99 ACDC Bag (~24 mins?) 9/18/99 Boogie on Reggae Woman (~18 mins?) 9/29/99 Mike's > Catapult > Mike's > Kung > Mike's > I Didn't Know > 'paug 10/2/99 Tweezer -> On Your Way Down -> Piper (!) > You Enjoy Myself 10/8/99 Halley's Comet -> Tweezer 12/7/99 Halley's Comet (!!!!!!!) -> Squirming Coil ugh, do I have to keep going? Ser, these all are absolute must-knows. Not typical "yeah its great" shit. This stuff is special. Especially the 12/16/99 Tweezer. if NOTHING ELSE, you HAVE TO HEAR THAT. "

"please play more west coast shows phish!!! i always have so much more fun at them! the fans are way more fun to hang out with on the west coast and there aren't any snobs that think they have their PhD in Phishology. also not to mention the herbs are WAY cheaper and WAY better! festival 8 was absolutely amazing! i was at hartford and nothing can top that....unless you took that same set and played it on the west coast!"
