"I would consider myself a veteran in terms of having been a phan since '93 and have been seeing them live since 8/14/97. I say that to say this: Just because Phish played more 20+ minute jams and longer tours, played more classic songs etc... does not mean that 94-98 or whatever year u want to choose is better than 3.0 Phish. We almost lost them for good so be grateful we even can see them for one thing. Also how much have we and our lives all changed in 20+ years? A shit load. Phish has evolved as they've aged but they still fucking bring it! On any given night you could see an all time best show. Don't hate on 'newbies.' We were all that person once and then we surrendered to the flow and here we are. I thoroughly enjoyed this show just as much as and more than I enjoyed several shows from 1.0 or 2.0 Phish. They were technically sound and the jams despite their brevity were played with purpose and no aimless meandering. The second half of the first set was super tight and the energy was amazing. set 2 started with a trifecta of Gold and the Corinna was the finest version I think they've ever played and the ending Slave>Fluffhead blew the roof of the Boardwalk Hall which BTW was a cool old school coliseum venue. Great show and they have only been getting better in the 7 years since. Welcome Newbies and Hello to my many old friends out there. "

"Just download the show over the weekend, over a year after it was performed. First off, I downloaded the ALAC version and I love the crisp clean sound quality which may have effected my feedback on the performance quality. This show is played with ferocity and purpose. The band is as tight as I've ever heard them in the 17 years I've been listening. That's not to say that this will appeal to fans who really only like the 20+ minute jams and take pee breaks during Farmhouse and Bouncin', for instance. For me, I like what Phish ultimately stand for which is improvised art, fun, and passionate performance. That can take many paths and this show is top shelf on the sheer quality of intensity and focus alone. Personally, I continue to enjoy the 3.0 shows and this is one of the very good examples of why. PS: in the parking light of a GD show I once heard a dirty dude say "I don't like the country and rock stuff but I love the space and drums parts. That's why I tour." It takes all kinds..."

"This is the tightest show start to finish that I've ever seen. You need shows like this to make the crazy shows that much more amazing. This was a welcomed night for me. My Soul - most solid version I've ever heard Sugar Shack - ditto Rift - flawless (or close enough) Moma > Cities > 46 = MONEY!!!!! Sand = one of the best from 2010 No complaints at all about this show. A perfect beginning to a perfect weekend in AC"
