"Have been to dozen's of Phish shows since the early/mid 90's. This was my first Trey solo show. I can honestly say that this is possibly my favorite concert, by any artist, i've ever attended. To start, Trey sounded excellent. Having seen some of the video from shows earlier in the tour I was a little worried. Some of the songs had sounded very unrehearsed and well, bad. Seems Trey and the TAB really hit their stride with this show. Hearing Phish songs, sung and played by the lead guy from Phish, without the entirety of what Phish is, was simply awesome. Backwards Down the Number Line became a Phish classic 2 years ago and hearing Trey trade lyrics with the crown was very cool. I have never enjoyed Farmhouse more than this performance and the same can especially said about Heavy Things. Heavy Things usually sucks live. But this version made it most enjoyable to listen to. Simply awesome with the flute too. Another song that has hit its stride after limited play over a few years is Let Me Lie. Trey and the backup singer were awesome harmonizing together and the whole song had taken on a new and enchanting feel. It was halfway through the 1st set that I realized this show was something very special. Time to live in the moment and completely take it in. Having downloaded the show and listening to it several time I can safely say with certainty that this was indeed the best concert i've ever been to and the music simply stellar."

"Amazing show, lots of fun. Really loved the acoustic dynamic to Heavy Things. Thought the flute added a lot of new textures. It was also really interesting to hear the song without the repetitive "tings" that Trey sets in his boomerang pedal. IMO, it sounded a lot cleaner and better this way. This version is worth a listen even if you're not a fan. I was floored by Liquid Time. This was the first use of Trey actually using the acoustic to play solo leads. It would be really interesting to see Trey take on more approaches like this, and try playing within this concept where the acoustic is still the sole lead instrument. Maybe it's time to bring back the acoustic mini-stage from 1996? :) The second set was very high energy with really good flow. Everything was top notch. Sultan's of Swing is a personal favorite of mine, in any carnation of the song. I was especially to hear it as the last thing before lights went back on. Also, I've seen Trey's solo project do this song before, and it seemed different. I could be wrong, but I feel like the horns had the guitar solos charted out and would do all of the heavy lifting. This time Trey took the first, and beefy I might add, solo. He nailed it! Excited to hear about Leg 2 of the Summer Tour... please come back to Chicago. (Lollapalooza???)"

"Best Trey solo since '03, period. First set was to be expected by setlists we have seen. Still ended a little startled how good "Hey Ya" sounded!! Was with a black woman who didn't believe that there were nothin but white chicks on stage she had to see for herself!! Trey you have reinvented yourself, Jennifer you have outdone yourself by a longshot, Ray you scare me, Tony your like an OAK. and the rest of you make pure love"
