"Is there actually one review for this show that doesn't include a comment about which phish version is better. come on guys, phish is about sharin in the groove, not complainin about the groove. I personally thought this night was fun, obviously based on what i said about the first night of the run it wasn't the best of the four, but it was a solid and fun show. and truthfully, that's all that should matter. if the people you met were great and the vibes you felt were great then you had a great time. and i didn't hear anyone complaining about this show until they downloaded it and saw the times of the songs. I would love for someone who has been with the boys from the beginning to explain to me why people feel that just because a song wasn't in the double digit minutes that it is not worthy of recognition for giving people enjoyment. every song this night was great. and the Pebbles was a fantastic surprise. Never heard as upbeat and rockin of a Jibboo since their return. The New Years Gag was a little corny, i know, but if you were there, it was pretty entertaining to watch those guys on the fly up from the floor. I'm sure every acrobat takin part in that got an experience that none of us will ever get, and i bet the crowd and the band looked amazing from all the way up on the ceiling. But in all honesty, the vibes that everyone brought to this show made the night one i will never forget. and the music was fluid and raw, just as it should be. So when i see people making outrageous claims that the boys aren't living up to the image that these people have created in their mind, it brings a tear to my eye. The idea that people can't get over the fact that the 90's were the 90's, 03'-04' was 03'-04', and now is now is very ignorant and sad. no one can repeat the past, as you shouldn't. You are supposed to learn from the past, and that's exactly what the boys have done, they've learned what they like and don't like to play, and that's the way it should be. They are playin' their asses off now and it shows. If you want to live in the past and sulk that four people, who are now all over 40, aren't playing like they were when they were in their 20's, then you go do that. but you should keep you ignorance away from people who are interested in enjoying themselves and experiencing new things. I hope that before this summer tour starts, all of you 1.0ers realize that this is phish now, and there is nothing that your childish negative comments can do to change that. Because their is a big difference between giving an honest negative review of a show and just saying that it wasn't as good as the 90's. Grow up and be constructive with your words, not insulting. Also, i hope everyone who's gonna be there is prepared for a mass of people that are probably all thinking what I am... FEAR AND LOATHING IN ATLANTIC CITY!!! Who's bringin the sunshine?"
