"Just listening to this show again. Phish continues to perplex me. At one point in 2011-2012 I began to think they had lost what they once had. Now it's apparent to me they haven't lost it at all...they're perfectly capable...it's just a choice what they want to bring to the table each time they play. The second set of this show is 2nd to none. It is absolutely A+....it takes you on a space odyssey where you're left with nothing to say but WOW. This is the stuff which attracted me to Phish 15 years ago. It's so unique....I just wish they would have been doing this throughout 2009-2011. Just seems like there were so many shows in 2010 & 2011 with example after example of 6 minute scaled back/lost opportunities. I just hope they bring the Dick's shows mentality to 2013"

"No other band lights up my soul and sets me flying like Phish. A musical orgasm that climaxes over and over again for 3+ hours. That's how I would describe a Phish show. Musical Tantra. Gordon's bass warms up my belly. Page's keys tickle my heart. Trey's guitar sends me flying. And Fishman's drums keep me dancing through it all. What else do you really want in a concert experience? A celebration of being alive. Of being eternally young. Of being able to feel love, joy, ecstasy. So extremely importaint. We must have ecstasy in our lives. On a regular basis. The sounds. The textures. They remind me of everything beautiful in my life. My one true love, my wife. Mountains. Snow. Rainbows. Friends. Family. My cat, Tela. All swirling through my kalidiscopic mind. I look around, I only see me. 18,000 people dancing on my lawn. I only see me. I look at Trey. It's me. Playing the note only I would've played at that exact perfect moment. It pierces my heart. It's ripped to shreds. I surrender completely. I think I may scream. I do. So do the people around me. I dance my wildest dance. The space around me seems to open up, as it always does when the music gets just right. How does this happen? Only moments ago, my space was cramped and awkward. Now everyone moves and dances freely. Phish plays Light. The groove continues. . . . ."
