"The 2nd set is on tilt. Rippin'! Love it all. Got a blank space where my mind should've been....Where'd I go...around and around......"

"This show is something that myself and my friend will never forget we still talk about how the Stealing Time opener just changed our lives and that Wolfmans jam with little drummer boy was just beyond amazing such an incredible show never forget 12/28/12"

"Awesome show. They really redeemed themselves for the 2011 run with this 2012 New Year's run. The first set is a relaxed build-up with solid highlights in Bitch, Tube and Stash before running into the first brilliant spot of the run in Wolfman's Brother. Fantastic version that hops on an upbeat funky train and then becomes a full band tease of Little Drummer Boy, and then becomes Wolfman's Type 2 funk again. Excellent stuff and a great way to end the first set. Set 2 is great top to bottom. Tweezer builds beautifully to a great climax during its 20 plus minutes and segues into a high energy Maze. They then slip into some fun with a rocking Twist with multiple Little Drummer Boy teases. Theme keeps it going to Fluff which is always fantastic in the Garden. Then, we get a fantastic out of the box Bowie, something that rarely happens these days. An amazingly creative take with the band playing off each other brilliantly. Bouncing finds perfect placement in the encore and then Good Times rocks the house. Brilliant start to the run, and although they reached a lull with a mediocre show on the 29th, they closed the run with a really deep excellent 30th show and a brilliant New Year's show. Great run, and it's great to see they didn't regress after the wonderful Dick's run. 2013 should be pretty awesome."

"I was excited to listen to this show just looking at the setlists and generally because I like 3.0 more than many. And maybe I should finish listening (yes, I was unable to attend) this show before commenting... but I just had to)... this may go on to be my absolute favorite... but... and the reason for my "review" is that... why the hell can't Trey play the lead up to his solo in Theme From the Bottom (yes I'm not abbreviating) cleanly???? I have a favorite live cut of this tune that I hold onto as my exemplar, and it ruins most other renditions I've heard in several years. I just don't get it. How can the man run through so many other set pieces successfuly (stuff I find more complicated) and continue to butcher parts of this lead up which to me truly is the semi orgasm moment before the solo release! I may be obsessing because I have an unnatural attachment to this tune, but Jesus! Trey ---- please get through this next time you play it! I'm listening to a so far flawless Fluff which follows TFTB in this show. I know you can play the set pieces."
