"First off thought the version was interesting. Simply another example of the band trying to,create diff textures and sounds in their old standards. For the guys saying sarcastically that this version is an example of why they don't play the song much anymore...so so witty...yes and they NEVER EVER EVER PLAYED A SLOPPY VERSION OF A SONG BEFORE 2009 so of course back in the "good old days when they NEVER made mistakes when you were seeing the requisite 100 shows every veteran reviewer claims they've been to". , I'm sure they just never played a sloppy version before. Don't you just love SARCASM. I think the band is wicked tight right now and here's a surprise - yes I'm a vet who's been to a lot of shows. And I can safely say that we are in oen of the peaks in the bands history right now. Ten years from now when you sarcastic trollers are criticizing the 2024 versions of wingsuit as not being played as well as it was in 2014, I'm sure you'll be right there saying "don't you wish they jammed like they did in 14'... And il be in my wheelchair saying damn I'm just so happy I can listen to my fav band still. Enjoy what you got people. And I don't mean SETTLE- mean enjoy what you got cuz it's some of the best any of us has had-as good as before in a different way. Maybe different but still some of the best.
