"just wanted to add to the chorus that thinks this show is extremely rad, also the setlist is PERFECT"

"Such a great chalkdust- as good as any jam from any era. While 2014 is often overlooked as sandwiched between fall 2013 andsummer 2015, some of these July 2014 shows hold up well over the years, and are just as good, even if 2014 was a little uneven. "

"And this chalk dust torture is an absolute complete masterpiece of multi themed longform improv. Ambient soundscapes and space launch motifs abound in the thick of plinko jams, mini blues jams, dark dissonance and tribal drumming not to mention a handful of elaborate bass swells. Absolutely stunning. Here is an elaborate and amazing dissection of this chalk dust torture if you read down the page or go back to parts 1/2 this link is pt3 of the essay. http://phish.net/blog/1443225892/modulating-jams-of-summer-2015-part-3.html. But basically for those guitar heads or there this jam actually covers every tonal area in the span of a perfect fourth by the time it is finished. I have no idea if this was intentional or if their Jedi skills are just so great they achieve it by not thinking about it but it's crazy to think that's the case. "
